Bathurst is about 12 kilometers inland from Port Alfred, on the R67, in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Bathurst is part of the Ndlambe Local Municipality in the Cacadu District of the Eastern Cape. Many of the original settler houses, churches and other buildings have been preserved.
There is alot to do during day like visiting many of the restaurants, pubs, museums and aswell as arts and craft stores. There are many historical monuments in and around Bathurst.
